Terms & Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions shall apply to all customers / passengers utilising the Services offered by Zhep Cab Service on Mobile Application and Website.
The customer shall pay the taxi fare (as displayed in driver’s App or Customer App),toll tax, parking charges, additional night surcharge (where applicable) and any fee or levy presently payable or hereinafter imposed by the law or required to
be paid for availing of the taxi Services.
The customer agrees and accepts that the use of the services provided by the Zhep Cab is at the sole risk of the Customer, and further acknowledges that the Company disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
The customer shall ensure that he/she will not indulge in any of the following activities while travelling
- 1. Smoking or consuming any kind of intoxicants inside the Taxi. The Chauffeur has the right to refuse the pick-up or ask the customer to alight the cab if the customer is found to be in an intoxicated state, is found misbehaving with other
passengers and chauffeurs, or is causing a nuisance.
- 2. Littering in the Taxi
- 3. Misusing, soiling or damaging any of the devices (technical/non-technical) in the taxi.
- 4. Asking the chauffeur to break any Traffic/RTO/City Police and/or government rules for any purpose (especially reaching the destination earlier). The driver has the right to refuse such a request by the customer. The chauffeur also has the
right to refuse such a pick-up or ask such customer(s) to alight from the cab.
- 5. Asking the chauffeur to board passengers more than taxi capacity.
- 6. Asking the chauffeur to bring or buy Intoxicated/ Alcoholic content.
- 7. Asking the chauffeur to hand carry their luggage to the hotel room, railway platform, inside house, etc
- 8. Asking the chauffeur to bring or carry house hold items which are out of his scope.
Without prejudice to the above, Zhep Cab makes no representation or warranty that
- 1. The Services will meet the customer's requirements.
- 2. The Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Zhep Cab shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage, howsoever caused or suffered by the Customer arising out of the use of taxi service offered by Zhep Cab or due to the failure of Zhep Cab to provide services to the customer for
any reason whatsoever including but not limited to the customer's non-compliance with the services recorded voice instructions, malfunction, partial or total failure of any network terminal, data processing system, computer tele-transmission
or telecommunications system or other circumstances whether or not beyond the control of Zhep Cab or any person or any organization involved in the above mentioned systems.
Zhep Cab will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the service offered by Zhep Cab including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
If any passenger misses the train, flight or bus, Zhep Cab will not be liable for any compensation.
- Zhep Cab is hereby authorized to use the location based information provided by any of the telecommunication companies when the Customer uses the mobile phone to make a taxi booking.
The location based information will be used only to facilitate and improve the probability of locating a taxi for the Customer.
- Zhep Cab shall be entitled to disclose to all companies within its group, or any government body as so required by the law or by directive or request from any government body, the particulars
of the Customer in the possession of Zhep Cab in any way as Zhep Cab, in its absolute discretion, deems fit or if it considers it in its interests to do so.
- Zhep Cab shall be entitled at any time without giving any reason to terminate the booking of taxis done by the Customer.
- Zhep Cab encourages all its customers to take full responsibility for their belongings. In case of lost items inside the Cab during the journey, Zhep Cab will try to locate the items
on a "best-effort" basis but is not responsible in case of loss or damage to the same.
- If the customer forgot / left any items in the taxi, to return that item by Parcel or by Zhep Cab standard rates are applicable. the customer has to inform Zhep Cab of the same in writing
within 24 hours of using the taxi.
- Zhep Cab shall not be liable for any conduct of the chauffeur of the taxis. However, Zhep Cab encourages you to notify it of any complaints that you may have against the chauffeur of
any taxi that you may have hired using the Zhep Cab Services.
- Zhep Cab shall be entitled to add, to vary or amend any or all of these terms and conditions at any time and the Customer shall be bound by such addition, variation or amendment.
- All the calls made to Zhep Cab call centre may get recorded by Zhep Cab for quality and training purposes.
- All vehicles registered with Zhep Cab are continuously tracked using GPS for security reasons only.
- Zhep Cab has the right to use the customer contact information for its own marketing purposes. Zhep Cab may send regular SMS/ WhatsApp updates to the mobile numbers registered with it.
- Booking cancellations must be made using our mobile app or by phoning our customer care number and the charges may apply
